Story
Cyber Way was established in 2014 because we couldn't stand by and keep watching companies struggle with cybersecurity issues. After years of experience in incident response, cyber special forces, and advanced cybersecurity services, we saw first-hand the real-world cybersecurity situation of companies and the devastating effects of cyber-attacks. We knew we had to do something to change the equation.
We brought together a team of highly technical and highly capable experts, all with backgrounds in cyber special forces, incident response, penetration testing, threat hunting, and strategic cybersecurity. Together, we have the skills and experience necessary to help organizations navigate their cybersecurity challenges and improve their cybersecurity programs.

Maor Aknin, CEO
Maor Aknin is a highly experienced cybersecurity professional with a unique combination of technical and business expertise. He has over 16 years of experience in the industry and is known for his ability to help organizations navigate complex cybersecurity challenges. Maor has established himself as a trusted advisor to organizations of all sizes and industries, including government agencies, law enforcement, and private sector companies.
Maor has a track record of success in establishing and leading large-scale cybersecurity initiatives. He established the National Threat Hunting and Incident Response Department at the National Cybersecurity Bureau in Israel, where he developed the processes, technologies, and staffing necessary to respond to national-level cyber-attacks. He also served as a senior consultant for the incident response team at the Israeli military, where he helped investigate and handle some of the most complex cyber-attacks in the country. As a trusted advisor for organizations like PwC, Elmar, Tilly's, and others, Maor has helped these organizations implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and improve their prevention, detection, and response capabilities to better understand and manage cyber risks.
